Current Favorites

I was thinking, "I haven't listed my current favorites/most used products for a while... what do I actually favor right now?" And it was rather difficult to pick! I feel like I keep showcasing the same things over and over soon. But then I thought, why not. If they truly are favorites and I keep using them, they belong here.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash

I have lately tried other cleansers as well but... it's just that nothing seems to beat Garnier's Micellar Gel for price or effectiveness!

L300 Intensive Moisture Face Mist

Finally got one for myself (tested before briefly) and it is just so hydrating. Not a fan of the mister though... not fine enough.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

Great cheap and reliable stuff.

Catrice Brow Colorist Semi-Permanent Brow Mascara in Soft Brunette

Just... so easy and quick to use. I have lately accumulated a lot of brow products. But every morning without a doubt I grab this one. Too bad it doesn't keep my eye brows fluffy/more upwards more than an hour maybe. My eyes really would need that extra lift up. Must figure out something at some point.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in 21 Light Beige

A bit too light for me but... been too lazy to mix 21&23 lately and alone 23 looks now a bit too dark (I don't understand how it fluctuates like that???) so I've just put a bit of 21 and when blended well and set with powder, it's not too bad. The formula and gray-ish shade are both really nice.

Rexona Maximum Protection Antiperspirant Sport Strength

I've really liked this antiperspirant! Been using it almost non-stop after purchasing. Of course, now I also use Absolut Torr every 1-2 weeks but that plus applying Rexona daily, I'm very pleased to say I've tackled my sweat problem for now!

SVR Sun Secure Optical Blur Mousse Cream SPF50+

Sunscreen and primer all in one, great idea. Leaves skin blurred and matte, but it is so subtle that no one can really tell you have something on your face. Can be used with or without makeup and actually does help the make up adhere better. So far hasn't burned my eyes.

Garnier Sensitive Advanced Face Super UV Fluid SPF50+

What a nice sunscreen as well... leaves my skin slightly shiny but otherwise zero white cast and I think it is not irritating despite the alcohol content plus I don't think it is clogging my skin (I think SVR is a bit). Can easily be used under makeup, no pilling or any other issues. So far hasn't burned my eyes.

Empties Since June 2020

Empties from June to July so two months' worth.

Face

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

Honestly don't remember when I opened this one, it was during 2019 anyway because I finished the last tube then. NMF+HA is a good mildly boring moisturizer that I use on and off. The best, amazing part is the price: 7,70 €.  I actually do have a replacement already and I am using it, bought during black friday sale!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash

My staple, this time it took longer to finish a bottle because I've tried other cleansers as well. Good stuff, repurchased. I'm still amazed how effective, pleasant, and cheap this product is!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Mini

I stand by my opinion, it is ok, not amazing, not bad. Works nicely as lip gloss for the day. Doesn't really offer any long time relief or moisture and wipes off easily. Not going to repurchase but if a tub turned up I would use it.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 SPF50

Sooo old. 3 years? Bought in 2017. I especially liked this one as a hand cream during cold season. Nice protection, both repairing and spf. But I would think the spf wasn't that good anymore in the end because the product was expired. Burned my eyes during summer, but during winter I sometimes applied this on my face when I went out and it was -10 Celsius or colder (felt protecting). Seemed to be ok when my skin was dry or ok condition. But still, it feels clogging. I could try the original Cicaplast Baume without spf too! If I buy this one again, it is for my hands mainly again.

Lumene Klassikko/Classics Micellar Cleansing Water

I've had this bottle for a while, as well... It's actually my second one. First one I bought while travelling because I had forgotten to take any micellar water with me and this one was a good size and price. Quite ok micellar water, I felt it leaves skin less sticky than the popular Garnier! Cute bottle too. Not as strongly fragranced as many other Lumene products seem to be these days, very pleasant. Of course I don't know if they have updated this product as well. Anyway, could repurchase at some point.

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

Old bottle, again. Sometimes I liked it, sometimes I didn't. Didn't break me out, didn't feel drying. Ok micellar water. Really didn't like the stuffy unfragranced scent. Affordable. Probably will not purchase again, it wasn't super amazing, and the stores near me don't seem to carry it anymore so I should order from abroad I guess... Anyway, both Lumene/Simple micellar waters aren't that groundbreaking so I have purchased now L300 micellar water instead.

Derma Sun Lotion For Face/Solcreme Ansikte/Aurinkovoide Kasvoille SPF30

Quite good sunscreen! Affordable, too (about 7,5 € / 50 ml). Absorbs nicely, zero whitecast. Only chemical filters. Works under makeup. Not sure if it was slightly clogging/my skin wasn't in love with it so it's not perfect by no means. But no irritation. Could repurchase for winter for example! I don't mind it being SPF30 instead of SPF50.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Clear Lotion (not in the picture)

It was... nice? I think my partner used about half for treating his eczema (immediately from shower Hada Labo, then Ceralan ceramide moisturizer and/or L300 moisturizer with urea and his skin completely healed within a month! ). If his eczema comes back, I might repurchase. Otherwise, maybe, maybe not, it didn't become a must-have and I am still not sure if it slightly clogged my skin. Bought at the beginning of 2018.

Sample BTB13 Moisturizing Cream

Not for me, I think... rose/herbal scent that was strong and it wasn't super moisturizing. But absorbed beautifully!

Body

Ceralan Cleansing Body Oil / Pesuöljy

Not really an oil, it's cream. Purchased for my partner but we both used it. Unfragranced, pleasant consistency. Probably going to repurchase.

Veet Easy Gel Wax Strips

Ok wax strips! Easy to use. I have repurchased.
