Korean Skincare Sample Reviews Part 5 Feat Purito

I might purposely get more Purito samples (at least Beautynetkorea has them for sale) because Purito seems popular and I'm curious. Plus overall their brand image and ingredients seem nice. But also it seems none of these samples were quite what I was looking for. I think I liked Hyaluronic Acid Serum best and now that I looked back their toner pads were nice!

Peeling Pad Sample Reviews

Purito Snail All In One BB Cleanser

Ingredients:

Water, Lauramide DEA, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Dipropylene Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Citric Acid, Betaine, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Disodium EDTA, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Viola Tricolor Extract, Centaurea Cyanus Flower Extract, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Methylisothiazolinone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Fragrance.

* Tried 10 samples

* I thought for some reason this would be unscented, but it's not, a sweet fragrance, not good, not bad.

* Gel consistency, foams a bit.

* I used the samples mainly during travelling.

* Not effective at removing makeup or finishing the cleansing. I tried some samples so that I didn't oil cleanse my face before - so ineffective, even when using 2 packets at the same time and rubbing my face for several minutes. Even when I oil cleansed first, then used Purito's BB Cleanser, I felt my face wasn't clean but it felt dry. When I used toner pad afterwards, there was still dirt on my face. For morning cleansing, works ok because it doesn't need to remove anything, but leaves my face dryer than some other cleansers!

* Not going to repurchase or recommend. Truly uniquely bad cleanser.

Purito Pure Hyaluronic Acid 90 Serum

Ingredients:

Sodium Hyaluronate liquid(90%), Glycerin, Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Niacinamide,  Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Tuber MagnatumExtract, CamelliaSinensis Leaf Extract,Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbic Acid, Lactobacillus/Kelp Ferment Filtrate, Chlorella Ferment.

* Tried 1 sample

* Misleading ingredient list - 90% sodium hyaluronate liquid probably means water/thickeners/whatever + 1-2 % sodium hyaluronate. Why would you not just write it how it is?

* Watery gel, very normal serum consistency.

* No scent.

* Feels nice, I just put everything in the sample packet straight to my face even though it is enough for 2-3 uses. Absorbed pretty well considering the amount, left face sticky, but didn't pill when I added moisturizer on top.

* No complaints, I could use more of this, but don't know if I want to commit to a full bottle.

Purito Snail Repair Advanced Serum

Ingredients:

Snail Secretion Filtrate,Glycerin,Water,Sodium PCA,Pentylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose,Madecassoside, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Asiaticoside,1,2-Hexanediol,Ethyl Hexanediol,Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid,Centella Asiatica Extract, Panthenol,Ethylhexylglycerin,Glycosyl Trehalose, Disodium EDTA,Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate.

* Tried 1 sample

* Watery serum.

* No scent.

* Absorbed well, left face sticky. Didn't pill when moisturizer was added on top. Didn't feel as moisturizing/hydrating as Hyaluronic Acid serum. But I can see that this could be used well for layering several times.

* Nothing particularly amazing based on one try. Didn't seem to break me out though!

Purito Pure Vitamin C Serum

Ingredients:

Sodium Hyaluronate liquid, Ascorbic Acid(5 or 10%), 1,2-Hexanediol, Niacinamide, Arginine, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Magnolia Liliflora Bud Extract, Lilium Tigrinum Extract, Paeonia Lactiflora Root Extract, Tuber Magnatum Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Panax Ginseng  Root Extract, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract, Ananas Sativua(Pineapple) Fruit Extract, Curcuma Longa (Tumeric) Root Extract, Sodium  Polyacrylate, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA.

* Tried 1 sample

* I wonder if my sample was expired or had gone bad otherwise!

* No scent (many people say it smells very bad and very strong)

* Yellow, liquidy consistency. I think, because it was yellow it was maybe oxidized? I don't have experience with Vit C that oxides, only stable forms.

* Absorbed fast. Very fast.

* Burned like a motherf*!!! In about 30-60 seconds my cheeks and temples were on fire (my T zone, not really). And very, very red. I immediately washed my face with cold water, wiped with micellar water gently, still burning! I slathered my face with Bepanthen (panthenol ointment) and in about 5-10 minutes burning subsided to stinging. Redness lasted for a while though. Last time this kind of episode happened, it was a couple of times with Cosrx BHA Liquid...

* Can't really say what went wrong. Bad sample? Too strong vitamin C? I didn't realize to check that and be cautious. This is my first time slathering my face with Ascorbic Acid! I have used the more gentler forms before because I thought my skin couldn't take more (The Ordinary: Ascorbyl Glucoside, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Ethylated Ascorbic Acid). I was probably right.

* So if this burning was only because my skin is weak (probably?), yes definitely this is potent stuff and should make many people who are looking for strong vitamin C serums happy. Just... if you haven't used Ascorbic Acid before, patch test on one cheek first. I think burning is normal too in the beginning but holy h*ll I thought my skin was going to melt or something.

Purito Centella Green Level All in One Mild Pad

Ingredients:

Water, Centella Asiatica Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, GlycerinButylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Betaine Salicylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Arginine, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Allantoin, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Panthenol, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Myristyl Myristate, Caprylyl Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, Melaleuca Quinquenervia Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid.

Thoughts:

* There were actually 2 pads in the sample sachet. The pads were more like regular cotton pads than a thicker peeling pad (like Banila Co). The other side was embossed, the other one wasn't, but both sides felt the same on my skin. Not rough at all but not that soft either. There was ever so slight neutral scent but disappeared immediately when I actually tried to smell it.

* My skin felt afterwards very hydrated and calmed down. Almost forgot to put moisturizer! No brightening effect or the same smooth feeling as with Banila Co but also no tingling or dryness. I can see why they say that these pads can be used daily.

* Centella Green Level All in One Mild Pad tub (70 pads) costs on Ebay from 16 € to 20 €.
