Thoughts:

- Not available in my country and didn't see it available anymore on Notino either

- Doesn't emulsify easily, feels a bit thick and sticks to skin, difficult to wash off and the more you have makeup or sunscreen the more it all just mashes into a thick goo layer on my face

- Definitely needs a good second cleanser to remove the residue off face

- Annoying around eyes because easily fogs vision

- Takes a while to use and wash off

- Not particularly enjoyable product

* Nivea Cleansing Oil reminds me of Mizon's Great Pure Cleansing Oil. Probably because both have mineral oil? That one was also a pain in the arse to remove sometimes and left easily goo residue. I haven't repurchased Mizon since I finished in 2020. Why am I less irritated with Nivea's Cleansing Oil? Probably because it is a third the price of Mizon, has no sharp scent and I already had figured out how to deal with a more difficult oil cleanser.

I would recommend going for an other cleansing oil if you can afford to pay for a more elegant formula that emulsifies easily.

- Used on face only a few times, was shiny and once my cheek got irritated afterwards, but didn't burn my eyes, still wasn't exactly good as face sunscreen

* This is Nivea Sun Kids Protect&Sensitive Sun Spray SPF50+, the old formula that has been reformulated since beginning of 2022. I was sure I had written a review for this one, especially because I am fairly certain this is my second bottle too, so I have even repurchased! But no!

* I did write 2019 in my sunscreen compilation post: "Nivea and Garnier Kids are my favorites out of these (body sunscreens). But I must say Nivea is easier to remove and absorbs maybe better? Even though there is no prominent white cast with Garnier, it still leaves more of an layer if you go looking for it, also it might bunch up on my neck for example when I sweat. Probably Nivea does too, but I can't notice it. But Garnier is so darn difficult to remove so I bet it survives beach trips amazingly. I think Garnier smells better than Nivea even though they are not strong scents and they are not disturbing at all."

Yes, I think Nivea Sun Kids Protect&Sensitive Sun Spray SPF50+ is worth the money. It is a good sunscreen for just about everyone, no matter age or skintone, and it is fragrance free and easily available and affordable.

I have been using and comparing all these sunscreens at the same time: Garnier Sensitive Advanced Face Super UV Fluid SPF50+, Garnier Anti-Dryness Super UV SPF50+ and Nivea Sun UV Face Sensitive SPF50.

Garnier UV Fluid is fluid like the name suggests, Garnier Anti-Dryness is emulsion and Nivea UV Face Sensitive is cream. 

Thoughts:

- Not much negatives as usually I dislike sunscreens more and compare them to each other - maybe could have a more matte and more absorbed finish for my liking? Still a bit heavy for super hot summer, I prefer this during winter time. Leaves skin shiny. (Not greasy though.)

- I don't apply "enough" sunscreen if the recommended amount is 1,2 ml. I think I apply maybe 0,8 ml? I do have quite a small face if it matters. Anyway, Nivea bottle says to apply 3 ml for face! I just thought it was an interesting detail. Maybe they include neck as well.



+ No scent

+ Doesn't leave skin greasy or sticky (but there is shine) compared to some other sunscreens

+ Finish is satiny shiny

+ Good under makeup when has had some time to set first, no pilling

+ No white cast

+ Affordable, easily available

+ No breakouts

+ Haven't noticed it hurting my eyes yet (but I do not apply near eyes anyway because of sensitive eyes)

+ Even though it is a cream instead of a more watery sunscreen, it is not heavily moisturizing, doesn't feel suffocating for skin 

+ During summer no need for moisturizer underneath (for me)

+ High protection of SPF50 with chemical filters

* I can't believe I haven't made a post about Nivea Sun UV Face Sensitive sunscreen yet, even though I have mentioned it here and there! I'm soon done with the bottle that I got last year. I really do like it. I am using products quite slowly because I use several different ones in rotation currently. I try to use what I have before buying more.

* I'll have to check the box in case I still find it for the ingredients if they are still the same. Companies tend to reformulate sunscreens almost every/every other year.

* I also like Nivea's body sunscreen, Nivea Sun Kids Spray SPF50+ a lot. Or whatever it is called now.

* Don't get me wrong, this sunscreen is not perfect, but it seems no sunscreen can be so far... so my search continues still. I want to try Japanese sunscreens next because they are so hyped and I don't know how these basic EU sunscreens compare to them. And new formulations come out every year. But this is still very good and usable and that is nice!

Yes. Nivea's Sun Uv Face Sensitive SPF50 is a good everyday sunscreen and I especially like it for winter and it is ok during summer too. It seems to suit many skintypes, dry skin just needs moisturizer, oily skin doesn't. I'm surprised I've had no breakouts so it seems to suit clog prone skin as well. I've had no irritation either, so probably works well for sensitive skin as advertised. Even though it contains alcohol denat and only chemical filters. I would say: versatile all arounder for a fair price and I would recommend to try it sometime if you got interested.

- Good only 6 months after opening, for me that is a short time, but I still use it for a year and haven't noticed signs of expiration. Probably the vitamin C starts to degrade.

- Doesn't make much difference to dark circles, eye corner wrinkles etc, no miracle product in any way (but that is ok). Just saying because Nivea's marketing says that this eye cream makes you look more energized, less tired, firming skin etc.



+ Not too heavy, not too light, just right cream consistency, not oily at all, still easy to apply without dragging skin even if putting on a super small amount

+ Absorbs fast, doesn't cause milia even if layered

+ Easy to squeeze a small amount from the tube, very fine tip

+ No scent

+ No eye irritation

+ Doesn't pill, works well under eye make up

+ I thought after I started using this eye cream that my dark circles looked slightly better, but who knows!

+ I like the price point of this eye cream considering it includes nice ingredients (who knows at what % though!): vitamin C, Q10, shea butter, panthenol, of course glycerin

+ Easy availability at super markets

* Nivea is an easy brand to like, they are affordable, easily available, they have many product lines that cater to almost all skintypes, or that is what I feel. I haven't come across a terrible Nivea product yet.

* Nivea has a new Nivea Q10 Plus C Energy Sleep Cream, which I also would like to try. Ingredients are similar to the eye cream so I believe it could work for me.

Yes, good value even at 14 € / 15 ml, of course half price even better. Good, basic eye cream that suits most of people I feel, even those with a bit more oily eye contours (I used to be oily there but as I get older I get more dry). The 15 ml lasts me about a year which is longer than they promise that the product is good for.

- Unhygienic because have to dip fingers into product

- The Raspberry Rose one is not pleasant to use in the evening before bed because it has a bit sickly smell, also for day it doesn't even tint lips even though it has this pink color

- I don't think they are that moisturizing, they are good for slightly dry lips for a moment, but the effect goes away quite soon and lips don't stay moisturized/soft after that (but they are not painfully dry anymore)



+ Actually a lip balm that didn't seem to make my lips dry in the long run! Quite many do with frequent use and even right after you apply them

+ Nice, soft, smooth

+ The tins are cute, I'll give them that!

+ They are easy to carry around, the size and shape are nice for pockets

* These lip butters are good but not irreplaceable, anyway they're not for cracked lips, then you need something more heavy duty like Bepanthen.

* I think the Raspberry Rose one I regret buying, because it's scented and colored I can't even use it for hand/nail balm because I don't want to swim in that smell. Original version works for that very well!

* The question is really, maybe I could just use vaselin instead of these? Lately, or actually for a while, I've used L'Occitane's Shea Butter and it's been excellent, I quite enjoy its thickness more than these Lip Butters that are thinner

* Now, this is a shower gel that tries to do everything and probably that's why it doesn't really do anything right... my fiance bought two of these abominations because there was some sale and usually he doesn't care what he uses. Well, now fast forward he hates them and they've been around for I don't know how long because we both refuse to use them! 

* Maybe part of our reaction to this shower gel is explained by the fact that most of the shower gels we use are probably high pH and we are used to the stripping feeling that we associate with "clean". Also our body skins are very balanced, so we haven't had to think about them really.

- Cleansing gel doesn't properly remove all the make-up and dirt like it promises and it was probably one reason I used to have more pimples: I didn't really like toners or double cleansing back in the day

- Toner doesn't clean as well as Neutrogena's Blackhead Eliminating Toner, I was shocked when I tested Neutrogena for the first time and the cotton pad got dark!

- The gel is difficult to wash off if I use too much - it just seems to slide all over my face

- Toner feels like a lost product a bit - it's not properly cleansing and not hydrating, what is it supposed to do?

- Ingredient lists aren't very appealing on their own: Alcohol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate...



+ Neither gel or toner don't seem to dry my skin at all

+ Especially the cleansing gel is very gentle

+ Affordable, almost always on sale, can get them everywhere

+ Big bottles and they seem to last forever as a little goes long way
