Some sunscreens and their consistencies for the future reference. Tried to get photos how they looked like after properly spreading and patting in but it was impossible in bad light and with a phone camera! Let's just say that all products look different on my arm compared to face and physical sunscreens always leave the white cast, even if minimal.

My favorite is Garnier's Face Super UV Fluid, especially for summer. It definitely absorbs the best and is lightest. I think the name is something else now but the formula is the same?
Garnier Anti-Dryness is more moisturizing than Nivea despite Nivea being more creamy when it goes on skin. I feel I like Nivea more, it's less shiny after it absorbs compared to Garnier. Maybe because it has less protection ingredients (SPF50 compared to SPF50+). Both work for me well during winter, even replace moisturizer sometimes! But during summer I think they are too heavy. I can use them, but I prefer something lighter.

Now that I've had a lot of time to compare these 4 sunscreens I think I really dislike Garnier UV Water because it leaves my skin feel slimy, Pirkka leaves skin a bit creamy slimy but it's not as oily so it's bearable.
Nivea and Garnier Kids are my favorites out of these. But I must say Nivea is easier to remove and absorbs maybe better? Even though there is no prominent white cast with Garnier, it still leaves more of an layer if you go looking for it, also it might bunch up on my neck for example when I sweat. Probably Nivea does too, but I can't notice it. But Garnier is so darn difficult to remove so I bet it survives beach trips amazingly.
I think Garnier smells better than Nivea even though they are not strong scents and they are not disturbing at all.

| None of the sunscreens left a white cast after absorbing. They all also where a bit sticky all that time I left them on, about 30 minutes. Garnie UV Water was slippery oily sticky. Pirkka Sun Lotion was slippery sticky. Garnie Kids and Nivea Kids were just sticky, I think they dried the best. |
