Azelaic Acid still seems to be quite rare ingredient even though it's beneficial for many skin concerns, like acne, aging and rosacea. It seems that nonprescription products have maximum 10 % of Azelaic Acid and prescription creams 15-20 %.
Personally I have little experience with Azelaic Acid but I guess that's why I'm still so intrigued! I tried The Ordinary's Azelaic Acid Solution but it was either breaking me out, I was using it wrong, or my skin was throwing a tantrum back then anyway. Take your pick! Right now I just opened Skinoren Cream 20% and I've been using it for a couple of nights and even though it's too early to say much, I think my cheeks look better, smoother. But my cheeks are not my problem area to begin with. I have not experienced any itching, dryness or new breakouts yet.
